The tower bottom is the lower part of the tower. The tower bottom is a term used in chemical engineering, typically referring to the separation of raw materials based on their boiling points. Since different boiling points correspond to different evaporation temperatures, temperature is a critical factor. Additionally, the tower bottom temperature refers to the varying temperatures at different points within the tower bottom. There are generally two categories of temperatures: the feed temperature at the tower bottom and mid-section, and the discharge temperature at the tower top.
Characteristics of system
- Lowest energy consumption and operation cost, electricity consumption of one ton water's evaporation is 2.2kw/℃.
- Temperature difference is small, heating is gentle, the loss of product is less.
- Compact structure and lower building cost; plant area is 50% less than that of traditional evaporator.
- Surrounding is friendly, no gas and no steam.
- Good adaptability in low loading condition, flexibility of operation is good and has a longer service life.
- Consumption of circular water is low and energy saving is obvious.
- No fresh steam is needed.
- Evaporation can be carried out under 40℃ and equipment need not to be frozen, specially suitable for thermal activity products.
