It consists of crystallization chamber, circulation tube, circulation pump, heat exchanger and so on. Crystallization chamber has a cone-shaped bottom, the slurry from the bottom of the cone discharged through the circulation pipe with an axial circulation pump to send through the heat exchanger, be heated or cooled and re-entered the crystallization chamber, so the cycle has not ceased, belonging to the slurry cycle type. The slurry discharge outlet is located close to the bottom of the crystallization chamber cone, while the inlet is in the lower position under the discharge port. It can be operated continuously or intermittently.
FC crystallizers can be used universally for crystallization by evaporation, inter-wall cooling or vacuum cooling. In the latter case the heat exchanger is not necessary and the crystallization chamber is connected to a vacuum system in order to maintain a high vacuum in the chamber. This form of crystallizer is suitable for the production of sodium chloride, barium chloride, potassium chloride, urea, sodium hypophosphite, sodium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, citric acid, and some other inorganic and organic crystals. The product particle size is about 0.05~0.8mm.
Characteristics of system
- Lowest energy consumption and operation cost, electricity consumption of one ton water's evaporation is 2.2kw/℃.
- Temperature difference is small, heating is gentle, the loss of product is less.
- Compact structure and lower building cost; plant area is 50% less than that of traditional evaporator.
- Surrounding is friendly, no gas and no steam.
- Good adaptability in low loading condition, flexibility of operation is good and has a longer service life.
- Consumption of circular water is low and energy saving is obvious.
- No fresh steam is needed.
- Evaporation can be carried out under 40℃ and equipment need not to be frozen, specially suitable for thermal activity products.
