Flue gas condensers are used in combustion units that use wet combustibles such as biomass or municipal solid waste.
The final exhaust steam from this type of combustion unit contains a large amount of water vapor. When the exhaust steam flows through the plate set, the gas is cooled and the water vapor is condensed in order to recover latent heat.
The inner chamber of the plate is usually a walk-in water, which can be reused water for heating or heated water used in industrial areas
and so on.
Hot plates are usually made of austenitic stainless steel. Where corrosion resistance is required, 2205, SMO254 or other materials may be used. This type of flue gas condenser is widely used in small, medium and large power heat generators or cogeneration units (boiler power from 2 to 200-250 MW).
In addition to being used as a flue gas condenser, combustion gases can be purified more efficiently than with a tube condenser. The use of the plate type reduces any loss of gas load and has clear economic advantages compared to the tube condenser.

Characteristics of system

  • Lowest energy consumption and operation cost, electricity consumption of one ton water's evaporation is 2.2kw/℃.
  • Temperature difference is small, heating is gentle, the loss of product is less.
  • Compact structure and lower building cost; plant area is 50% less than that of traditional evaporator.
  • Surrounding is friendly, no gas and no steam.
  • Good adaptability in low loading condition, flexibility of operation is good and has a longer service life.
  • Consumption of circular water is low and energy saving is obvious.
  • No fresh steam is needed.
  • Evaporation can be carried out under 40℃ and equipment need not to be frozen, specially suitable for thermal activity products.
