
A self-cleaning heat exchanger for heat recovery and cooling and heating of fibrous or contaminated treatment fluids. It consists of a number of concentric heat transfer ring plates which are continuously cleaned by built-in brushes. In this way fouling is minimized and heat transfer is optimized. The brushes prevent particles from being deposited on the surface of the plates, thus extending the service life of the system
