A storage tank is a piece of equipment used for storing various liquid raw materials, semi-finished products, or finished products. It is also known as a “storage tank.” Due to the wide variety of stored media and the diversification of storage conditions, there are different types of storage tanks. Based on structural shape, storage tanks are categorized into cylindrical, spherical, and non-circular cross-section (e.g., oval, rectangular) types. Cylindrical storage tanks are the most widely used due to their ease of manufacture. There are numerous subtypes, including steel storage tanks, stainless steel storage tanks, and others.

- Compact structure and lower building cost; plant area is 50% less than that of traditional evaporator.
- Surrounding is friendly, no gas and no steam.
- Good adaptability in low loading condition, flexibility of operation is good and has a longer service life.
- Consumption of circular water is low and energy saving is obvious.
- No fresh steam is needed.
- Evaporation can be carried out under 40℃ and equipment need not to be frozen, specially suitable for thermal activity products.
